Experiencing an odd issue with my 2011 Jetta TDI w/DSG.

When trying to start the car I get in and push the start button, gauges light up and it glow plugs but then when I try to start it it flashes no key and there is an audible clicking sound like when a battery is dead.

I have done the following:

Changed the batteries in both keys
Tried the override by touching the key to the steering column
Charged the car's battery
Tried to re-pair the keys to the car
Checked fuses inside and under the hood for the fuel pump, ignition, etc
The remote and keyless entry both work to lock/unlock and pop the trunk
I have interior lights

I also hooked my F150 up to it that has a brand new 850cca battery and tried to boost it which after letting it charge for a while the car actually did attempt to crank but couldn't start which leads me to believe the battery is the issue but in my experience any time I've had a bad battery it doesn't have enough power to let me try to start the car 10-15 times I did before trying to boost it.

Any thoughts are appreciated, I can't seem to find a similar issue anywhere online.
